Experience of a lifetime It was amazing! This was our second attempt due to poor weather conditions last time, and it finally happened. Worth the wait! Our group was large (12 people), but everybody seemed to enjoy the flight. I usually fear heights, but this flight felt smooth and comfortable. I had no fear. Stunning views, a great pilot, and a sense of adventure made our day and the trip to South Island so memorable. My husband and I would highly recommend this company. Even though the first flight had to be cancelled last year, we had no issues with the refund. And this time, they proved the hot air balloon flight should be on your bucket list and worth its time and money. Thank you for making a dream come true!

Mar 2024 • Couples Very enjoyable - with mountain views reaching from Mt Hutt across to Mt Cook. Unable to fly on day one, due to adverse weather, but our host ensured we were able to fly the next day when weather had improved. An amenable host/pilot (who undoubtedly was very experienced), as were all support staff. Safety briefing both written and verbal was more than adequate to allay the fears of any anxious flyer. Highly recommended.

Thanks Graham and your lovely team for making my friend's 60th birthday so special. We really enjoyed the professional and warm service provision, supported with great information, plenty of chuckles, outstanding balloon management skills, awesome views, wonderful hospitality. Would strongly recommend this experience. Worth every penny. Will be back for more

Out of this world Apr 2024 • The introduction was great, and from there it just got better, got to take great photos and videos, the take off was so gentle, and the landing was so smooth, I had no idea it was going to be so fantastic, I would recommend this experience to anybody, and you have no worries, just do it. Magical day May 2024 • My granddaughter and I had an amazing experience .The flight was outstanding from the booking, ( they accommodated a very late request for an extra person) to the very gentle landing followed by a glass of very nice bubbles and muffins .A gift from my family to celebrate my 70th birthday.A gift with memories for a live time Out of this world

Excellent Jun 2024 • Such an incredible experience! I'm terrified of heights so I wasn't sure how I'd handle it, but it was so much fun. We got to help with set up and pack down too, and enjoyed a glass of bubbles post-flight. The pilot was friendly and knowledgeable and was more than happy to share his expertise. I'd definitely go ballooning with them again.

Spectacular sights and experience Friendly, knowledgeable team. Massive colourful balloon. The views are magnificent, could see mt cook. From the roar of the burners to immediate silence was awesome. Felt safe at all times. Very gentle landing. Plus bubbles at the end!!

It was an involved experience. We did a bit of everything. The highlight was lifting off! And then wondering where were going to land! Our pilot Graeme, was great. Made sure we all got some good photos. Did some high sailing, then a bit of low cruising. A brilliant day. Would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you!

Went for my first flight in a hot air balloon with Adventure Balloons. Had an amazing time with perfect weather and stunning views of Methven, Mt Hutt and the Rakaia gorge. Our captain was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions and made me feel extremely comfortable about the whole experience. I'm not terribly fond of heights but as soon as the balloon took off it was so smooth and not worrying at all. 100% would recommend you give them a go it will be the thrill of your lifetime.
